The internet can be a great resource for shoppers looking to expand their choices of products to buy and an invaluable way for saving money. Online stores are highly competitive not only with other online stores, but also with brick-and-mortar competitors. Price-comparison websites make deal hunting easier and also help guide shoppers to online stores with the best reputations by posting reviews submitted by other shoppers.

SNAPDEAL Order Nbr. 2569404318 / Request #8484439 TV Not working on delivery and NO Refund/Exchange despite innumerable calls to customer service. Had paid money online & since then there’s been No response whatsover except a couple of robotic emails/ customer rep saying ‘we are looking into this’. This is UNacceptable and the company must be punished for malpractises and utter incompetence. How can they take the customers money and then NOT deliver the right product and keep delaying on ‘purpose’, which I am 100% sure is the case looking at the attitude/robotic replies of customer reps. I am sure that 1.SNAPDEAL does NOT have a working product available on short notice due to their network of SHADY/SUBstandard sellers and merchandisers who sell fake/used/defective/stolen products. 2. They take customer’s money today and promise to deliver a product within say 2-5 days, and then keep delaying for months until customer is fed up of calling again and again and cancels and demands refund as per their immoral TrustPay guarantee. They then take another month to return the money which they have to legally anyways someday or the customer can actually sue. Now by this stage, they have kept your money for couple months and earned INTEREST on it; while you tear your hair apart. I have shopped online extensively in the US in the past 7-8 years and now here in India in the past year. Its safe to say THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. The Number of online complaints and pleas for help I see is something I havent seen before for a company that is supposedly One of India’s recent times internet success stories. I think Its easy to ride the wave of increasing internet reach in India currently and quicky rise as a company, but very difficult to sustain it in the longer run with these kind of operations and unethical behavior. I refuse to believe that someone senior in the company hasnt seen or is not aware of the sheer number of complaints and the kind that would figure in peoples ‘most horrible experience’ lists. And if they have seen it, then why do these complaints keep getting more and more each day passes. Arent corporations supposed to atleast make an effort to better themselves. What kind of business are you running? Is the company moto ONLY to earn money at customers expense. To hell with return customers huh? I have been doing some online research specifically on snapdeal reviews and the kind of complaints compared to other sites such as amazon india, flipkart..and I see the difference. Its quite an eye opener. And kind of a scam. Dear Snapdeal – Yes, you are one of India’s recent internet success stories. But you are also operating a scam. Making a quick buck and fooling customers. Remember the Internet is forever. Whatever’s written on here is your history and legacy. And the lakhs (maybe millions) of rants and complaints and desperate pleas for help plastered all over the internet by cheated customers will come back to bite you someday when it really matters. You made a joke out of something as simple as online shopping.

I think you need to include Amazon.com as well. Many people think they will not ship to India but they will. They will not ship everything to an Indian address though and that is where it gets tricky. Here is 5 steps to identify and purchase items on Amazon that can be shipped to India. http://doesitshipto.com/does-amazon-ship-to-india/

Lifestyle centers typically require less land and may generate higher revenue margins, generating close to 500 dollars per square foot, compared to an average of 330 dollars per square foot for a traditional mall, according to the president of Poag and McEwen.[2] Other advantages lifestyle centers have over traditional enclosed malls are savings on heating and cooling and quicker access for customers. Lifestyle centers typically look like strip shopping centers turned outside in, and the formal storefronts don’t face parking areas like in strip centers, but landscaped park-like pedestrian areas, with storefronts facing each other across the pedestrian walkway or a low volume parkingless two-lane road. A two-lane road might go through the inside of the center.[citation needed]

Online stores are usually available 24 hours a day, and many consumers in Western countries have Internet access both at work and at home. Other establishments such as Internet cafes, community centers and schools provide internet access as well. In contrast, visiting a conventional retail store requires travel or commuting and costs such as gas, parking, or bus tickets, and must typically take place during business hours. Delivery was always a problem which affected the convenience of online shopping. However to overcome this many retailers including online retailers in Taiwan brought in a store pick up service. This now meant that customers could purchase goods online and pick them up at a nearby convenience store, making online shopping more advantageous to customers.[35] In the event of a problem with the item (e.g., the product was not what the consumer ordered or the product was not satisfactory), consumers are concerned with the ease of returning an item in exchange for the correct product or a refund. Consumers may need to contact the retailer, visit the post office and pay return shipping, and then wait for a replacement or refund. Some online companies have more generous return policies to compensate for the traditional advantage of physical stores. For example, the online shoe retailer Zappos.com includes labels for free return shipping, and does not charge a restocking fee, even for returns which are not the result of merchant error. (Note: In the United Kingdom, online shops are prohibited from charging a restocking fee if the consumer cancels their order in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Act 2000).[36]

Everyone understands Manafort’s fate, except apparently the man himself. Rather than cutting a deal—as his longtime deputy Rick Gates did yesterday—Manafort continues to cut a figure of defiance. He has, in essence, dismissed Gates as a weakling. And even as the bedraggled Gates turned against him, Manafort boasted in a statement that he would not be knocked from his stance: “This does not alter my commitment to defend myself against the untrue piled up charges contained in the indictments against me.

Designers of online shops are concerned with the effects of information load. Information load is a product of the spatial and temporal arrangements of stimuli in the web store.[26] Compared with conventional retail shopping, the information environment of virtual shopping is enhanced by providing additional product information such as comparative products and services, as well as various alternatives and attributes of each alternative, etc.[27] Two major dimensions of information load are complexity and novelty.[28] Complexity refers to the number of different elements or features of a site, often the result of increased information diversity. Novelty involves the unexpected, suppressed, new, or unfamiliar aspects of the site. The novelty dimension may keep consumers exploring a shopping site, whereas the complexity dimension may induce impulse purchases.[27]

This was an experience replicated around the country from a single archetype: Southdale Center in Edina, Minn. Opened in 1956, it was the brainchild of Austrian architect Victor Gruen, a socialist appalled by American sprawl he described as “avenues of horror.”

Really, pay attention to Australia—white-male privilege and all. Several previous messages have referred to Australia’s modern experience with guns. In short: After the mass-casualty “Port Arthur massacre” of 1996, a conservative government (technically, the Liberal party) changed gun policy, and since then Australia has had its share of gun violence but no remotely comparable massacres. (By contrast, the five deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history, and 7 of the 10 worst, have all happened since 1996.)

I write here my personal bad experience with both these companies. One of our meditators ordered and paid for four English dictionaries to donate to us from Amazon.in, we received only 1 and the kind donor ordered and paid for another lot of 14 dictionaries from flipkart (order number OD002604923261113400) we received only 7. There has been no response from the customer care departments of both these companies either. It is not so much about not getting the books..but plain cheating for such small sums is strange and heart breaking … Please if we can spread this to as many people as possible, we can at least make both public and these companies aware of this and others can benefit from it in future…

This is my favorite thing I buy from Zaful, I\’m 5\’6 and usually wear M but this time i buy L, because people were saying it\’s small and I love it. The material is thick but good, not too small in butt or too big, fits perfect and for me I think people who wants to buy it, order a size up its better (sorry for my english).
