Local jobs are a major casualty of what analysts are with only a hint of hyperbole, the retail apocalypse. Since 2002, department stores have lost 448,000 jobs, a 25% decline, while the number of store closures this year is on pace to surpass the worst depths of the Great Recession. The growth of online retailers, meanwhile, has failed to offset those losses, with the e-commerce sector adding just 178,000 jobs over the past 15 years. Some of those jobs can be found in the massive distribution centers Amazon has opened across the country, often not too far from malls the company helped shutter. One of them is in Breinigsville, Pa., 45 miles from Schuylkill.

Why did I wait so long? As others have said the side doors are a sticky wicket. I leave mine slightly ajar. You also have to factor in keeping it an inch and a half away from the wall if you want to open it. Top pulls up and sides out requiring clearance so measure carefully if you have a tight space. I also wish the manufacturers would keep time with trends. Most of the drawers have dividers too small to accommodate my statement necklaces or large cuff bracelets. The necklaces are too heavy to hang but also too large to fit into so few open drawers. Finally, cant set a thing on top since you have to lift to access daily items. I hung a mirror over it and bought another small dresser to lay out the big clunky necklaces that should neither hang nor get dusty. Over all/grand slam. JCP had these same price way less quality or features.
It’s really effective and there’s a difference between eliminating and masking odours. And Eco-ON eliminates! Plus, lovely and speedy service from the team makes the overall retail experience really memorable. Oh did I mention the handwritten instructions in the manual. Thanks Team! I echo eco. 🙂

The proliferation of lifestyle centers in the United States accelerated in the 2000s, with number going from 30 in 2002 to 120 at the end of 2004. Lifestyle centers are sometimes depicted as occupying the upscale end of the spectrum of commercial development, opposite to the outlet mall which typically caters with marked down prices.
On Thursday at a conference sponsored by the American Conservative Union, Ben Domenech, the publisher of The Federalist, had an illuminating exchange with Senator Ted Cruz, the Texas Republican who once called Donald Trump “a pathological liar,” but has since lined up behind the billionaire who spread lies about his father, insulted the appearance of his wife, and nicknamed him “Lyin’ Ted.”

Guru Hariharan uncapped a dry-erase marker in a conference room at Boomerang’s headquarters in Mountain View, California. He was talking about what had led retailers to this desperate place where it’s necessary to change prices multiple times a day. On a whiteboard, he drew a series of lines representing the rising share of online sales for various kinds of products (books, DVDs, electronics) over time, then marked the years that major brick-and-mortar players (Borders, Blockbuster, Circuit City and RadioShack) went bankrupt. At first the years looked random. But the bankruptcies all clustered within a band where online sales hit between 20 and 25 percent. “In this range, there’s a crushing point,” Hariharan said, clapping his hands together for emphasis. “There’s a bloodbath happening.”
Lifestyle International sees most of its revenue from its brick-and-mortar stores, which comprise of 63 Lifestyle stores. The retail chain is already established in 1 tier cities, and plans to develop stores in 2/3-tier cities such as Nagpur, Jaipur and recently, Visakhapatnam and Nashik. Each store is estimated to cost the company around Rs. 10 crore to set up, on an average.
Many of the things I’ve been buying lately have either been a little too large or a little too small – this top is just perfect – whether I want to tuck it in or wear it over my bottoms. It is made of a very soft fabric and fits just right. There isn’t anything that I’ve found displeasing about this particular top and I may be going back to see what other colors I’ve missed now that I know the feel and fit of this wonderful top! The only thing that could make this perfect is finding it on clearance soon!!
