Designers of online shops are concerned with the effects of information load. Information load is a product of the spatial and temporal arrangements of stimuli in the web store. Compared with conventional retail shopping, the information environment of virtual shopping is enhanced by providing additional product information such as comparative products and services, as well as various alternatives and attributes of each alternative, etc. Two major dimensions of information load are complexity and novelty. Complexity refers to the number of different elements or features of a site, often the result of increased information diversity. Novelty involves the unexpected, suppressed, new, or unfamiliar aspects of the site. The novelty dimension may keep consumers exploring a shopping site, whereas the complexity dimension may induce impulse purchases.
Are other companies doing this? Four researchers in Catalonia tried to answer the question with dummy computers that mimicked the web-browsing patterns of either “affluent” or “budget conscious” customers for a week. When the personae went “shopping,” they weren’t shown different prices for the same goods. They were shown different goods. The average price of the headphones suggested for the affluent personae was four times the price of those suggested for the budget-conscious personae. Another experiment demonstrated a more direct form of price discrimination: Computers with addresses in greater Boston were shown lower prices than those in more-remote parts of Massachusetts on identical goods.

Lifestyle International sees most of its revenue from its brick-and-mortar stores, which comprise of 63 Lifestyle stores. The retail chain is already established in 1 tier cities, and plans to develop stores in 2/3-tier cities such as Nagpur, Jaipur and recently, Visakhapatnam and Nashik. Each store is estimated to cost the company around Rs. 10 crore to set up, on an average.
For example, consider an order with three products worth Rs.500 each, having a total value of Rs.1500. The order was partly paid for by using a Credit Note or Landmark Rewards points worth Rs.300 and the rest of the amount was paid for using any online payment method such as Debit or Credit Card, NetBanking or Wallets. If you return one product, you will receive a new Note for Rs.100, which is equivalent to the Credit Note or Landmark Rewards points in proportion to the order value, and the remaining Rs.400 will be refunded to your Debit Card, Credit Card, bank account or wallet.
It also turns out that not everyone wants to spend their leisure time inside. Many of the new, millennial-focused malls are indoor/outdoor complexes designed as one cog of a suburban town center that includes apartments and office space–not unlike what Gruen envisioned more than a half-century ago. Easton Town Center outside of Columbus, Ohio, for example, includes 300 shops spread across a mix of enclosed mall and an open-air, car-free street grid. The development has become a magnet for millennials who are leaving downtowns for the suburbs but still want to live in a dense, walkable community.

The number of lifestyle centers has quickly accelerated, from just 30 in 2002 to 120 at the end of 2004. Between 10 to 20 new centers are slated to open each year for the next two years. By contrast, only eight new regional malls are expected to open by 2006, according to ICSC.
High-volume websites, such as Yahoo!, Amazon.com, and eBay, offer hosting services for online stores to all size retailers. These stores are presented within an integrated navigation framework, sometimes known as virtual shopping malls or online marketplaces.
Malls had become “the new Main Streets of America,” as William Kowinski wrote in his 1985 book The Malling of America. Indeed, legal cases throughout the decade tested the argument that malls should not be seen as private spaces because so much public life happened there. (The courts didn’t always agree.)

AliExpress have become robbers. After buying from them for 3-4 years lots of items and lots of Dollars, suddenly they locked my account and they would not tell me why. I chatted with them 4 times and they all sweet talk to me and promised me to fix the situation, but no luck. I think it is time to tell them to go to hell.
Charlotte Russe is a popular store for young women. I love this store, but unfortunately, my campus does not have one anywhere near it, so the website is where I do my shopping. There are always deals going on at Charlotte Russe, especially for shoes. You can buy one pair of shoes and get another pair for $5. The skirts and dresses are stylish and super cheap.

We tried many ways to clean our oven. We’ve googled best ways to clean your oven without chemicals and those tried and tested methods of using vinegar, baking soda and even ammonia did not work. Gosh, I even bought a huge bottle of ammonia once only to have it spilled on me and I went home smelling like a drowned animal. It was not pleasant at all! I put Oven Cleaner aside for a while because cleaning the oven was not the top of priority in the list of household chores to do. But we do use the oven occasionally when the Man feels like he wants to cook and my poor helper would be the one cleaning the oven up when he’s done with the cooking. Unfortunately, over the years (almost 5 now), the layer of grease that gets piled up in the oven is really quite disgusting. Yup, you read right, disgusting! No matter how hard we tried to scrub the bits that we could see, nothing would remove the black bits. So one afternoon, I decided to finally put the Oven Cleaner to the test. I had that 10% of skepticism and wondered if the product would work its magic on our oven. Instructions for using the Oven Cleaner: 1. Pre-heat oven (we set our temperature to about 100 Degree Celsius for about 3-5 minutes). 2. Thereafter switch off the oven and wait for it to cool slightly. 3. Spray the Oven Cleaner quite liberally around the oven. [Note: Fumes are quite strong so either cover your nose, wear a mask and make sure your kiddos are not around when you are cleaning out your oven.] 4. Close oven door, wait for about 20 – 30 minutes. 5. Clean with damp cloth or kitchen towels. [Note: make sure you wear kitchen gloves when you are cleaning out the oven. Even though the product is said to environmentally friendly, I found that it dried my hands out. Nothing too serious that hand-cream couldn’t resolve.] 6. Once you are satisfied with how your clean oven now looks, it’s recommended that you pre-heat the oven again before putting any food in it. Oven Cleaner when sprayed on surfaces develops immediately into a thick, bubbling foam that penetrates and lifts away black carbon deposits and crusty, baked on food. It is safe to use on any metal kitchen appliance and utensils making it the ideal cleaner for both institutional and home kitchens. Cleans both warm and cold ovens. It is safe to use on any metal kitchen appliance and utensils making it the ideal cleaner for both institutional and home kitchens. Cleans both warm and cold ovens. You can use Oven Cleaner safely on ovens, stainless steel products and bakeware. We were all very surprised at how quick and effective Oven Cleaner really is in removing the dirt/ grime/ grease from our stainless steel bakeware. Minimal effort used in removing the dirt. We don’t have to scrub the surfaces, just a couple of wipes and viola, the dirt is removed. This reminds me of those infor-mericals that you see on TV, yup, the ones that probably got you thinking ‘Can’t be real?’ I’m telling you now, IT IS REAL! Our almost good as new oven and all it took us was under 1 hour to have this cleaned! Super impressed! In fact, the helper is so pleased with this product that she proceeded to use it on our toaster oven which also looked quite dirty on the inside. Now it looks almost as new again. They have a huge men’s and women’s shoe department (located in a separate store) and great prices on kid’s clothing. That being said, Century 21 is not for the faint of heart. You’ll have to fight your way through throngs of shoppers and racks of clothing, but you’ll definitely be able to find a gem of a souvenir.
According to ADI, online shoppers traditionally buy more items at lower prices during the holidays. In fact, four out of five measured product categories in ADI’s analysis show higher unit growth than revenue growth, suggesting that “consumers are making more purchases of less expensive items online,” Schreiner said.

We can’t process every piece of price information thrown our way. So we judge a store’s prices based on a handful of products we know well. Grocers have recognized this for decades, which is why they keep the price of eggs and milk consistently low, making their profits on other goods whose markups we don’t notice as easily.

They will not ship everything to an Indian address though and that is where it gets tricky. Here is 5 steps to identify and purchase items on Amazon that can be shipped to India. http://doesitshipto.com/does-amazon-ship-to-india/
